In our last lesson, we re-filmed a scene that we had lost. This lesson we have been editing all of the film that we have so far. we still have a few more shots to do, but we are almost finished with our filming.
When we have finished filming we will add some music and titles to our piece.

media production meeting 8-filming
Today we began filming the second section of our piece, which took place in a room that we thought looked like a spy room that may be in an academy.
We had trouble finding our footage on the tape which caused us to not be able to film as much as we wanted.

Media Production Meeting Seven; Script
Today i will write a script for our opening sequence. This is what i have written so far;
---
INT. DAY - HOUSEHOLD ROOM
OPENS WITH ESTABLISHING SHOT OF AN EMPTY, DIM ROOM. THERE IS A TABLE NEAR THE WINDOW, AND A BLACK BRIEF CASE ON THE TABLE.
BOMB MAKER [Enters from the left, camera focuses on his back]
CUTS TO ANOTHER SHOT, EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OPENING SHOT, BUT WITHOUT THE BRIEFCASE.
BOMB MAKER [Opens front door, cuts to him leaving the house. He looks quickly at his surroundings before he departs.]
[Cuts to a close-up of his feet and legs as he walks]
[Cuts again to the outside of the house, and a garage. BOMB MAKER appears from the pathway between them]
CUTS TO AN ESTABLISHING SHOT OF A NEW SCENE, A STREET.
BOMB MAKER [Walks along the street, looking suspicious, briefcase in hand]
CUTS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET, WE SEE A MAN IN BLACK STANDING ON A PAVEMENT LOOKING IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CAMERA.
BOMB MAKER [Turns down an alley way]
CUTS BACK TO THE OTHER MAN, NOW EXTREME CLOSE UP.
MALE BRITISH SPY [Puts walky talky to mouth and speaks into it- inaudible to audience]
CUTS TO ALLEY WAY
RUSSIAN FEMALE SPY [Stands at the far end of the alley way]
BOMB MAKER [Walks to where the RUSSIAN FEMALE SPY is, holds out suitcase for her to take]
RUSSIAN FEMALE SPY [Puts hands in pocket and pulls out an envelope of money and hands it to the BOMB MAKER, then takes the briefcase in her other hand]
CUTS TO AN ESTABLISHING SHOT OF THE ACADEMY, THEN TO A 'COMPUTER ROOM' ISNIDE OF IT]
BRITISH FEMALE SPY [Camera positioned where a computer screen is, she turns to face it, looking worried]
CAMERA REPOSITIONS TO BEHIND THE BRITISH FEMALE SPY.

Media Production Meeting Five; Music
We have decided to add diegetic sound to our piece and therefore spent this time searching the internet. We searched existing cinematic music from artists such as, 'X-ray dog' and 'Two Steps from Hell' and then set about trying to find copyright free music for our own piece. This proved to be difficult, but we still have the option of 'soundtrack', and making our own music.

Media Production Meeting Four ; Storyboard
Today we worked on our storyboard, recognising specific aspects of our piece and adding detail. We had to change many things, for example our characters means of transportation as we had to be sensitive to the public, and avoid filming them when we can. We managed to complete three pages of our story board.
